Hamden Men’s Over 40 Soccer Teams Play in Charity Match to Benefit
Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services
Sunday September 6th will see Hamden United play the Hamden Rovers in the very first (to be) annual inter-Hamden trophy match at the Hamden Middle School. The match will be in support of the Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (http://www.irisct.org/) who help refugees and other displaced people establish new lives, regain hope and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities. There will be a collection of lightly used adult soccer cleats, shin pads etc. to help with the pick-up soccer games the organization helps arrange for their clients.
