CT SUMMER SELECT OPENS NEW HAVEN COUNTY BRANCH
CT Summer Select has announced the latest addition with the opening of the New Haven County Branch. The New Haven County branch will run out of the CFC Arena, Hamden and/or the the prestigious Hamden Hall. Christine Huber is a U of New Haven Hall of Famer, Hamden Hall Varsity Coach and CFC Sound and No 1 Soccer Camps Director. Huber said "CT Summer Select coming to New Haven County will give players the opportunity for players to receive great individual training by some of the area's best coaches. Players will be able to elevate and enhance their technique to take their game to the next level during the summer months which has never been offered before."
CT Summer Select is the original summer program in the state of Connecticut. The program runs from 3rd week of June till 2nd week of August. Teams practice twice a week and play in three tournaments over the summer with our Official CT Summer Select 3v3 Jamboree as our final event. In addition, the program offers seminars, consultancy and goalkeeper training as part of the program. The curriculum has been built on a proven successful individual player development and tournaments are used as a fun reward for the players instead of the traditional emphasis on wins and losses.
The program was started and is ran by Magnus Nilerud and Scott McBride who has combined over 40 years experience in the state at the Professional, Collegiate, High School and Youth level.
With the best coaching staff in the state, if not in the region, and the best facilities, the program continues to grow and has since its inception in 2010. It has now expanded to many different geographical branches to serve its customers at the University of Bridgeport, St Luke's in New Canaan, Westchester County, Chelsea Piers in Stamford, West Branch in Newtown and New Haven County.
